Product
Daxin Services plans to rent physical Apple Silicon Mac mini computers hosted on the U.S. East Coast. Each machine serves one customer at a time, by the month. The minimum rental period is 1 month (no daily rentals); billing terms will be announced before launch.
What's included
- A physical Mac mini (Apple Silicon) used only by you during your rental
- Power, cooling and wired broadband connectivity
- Remote access over a private network (Tailscale) with SSH keys; screen sharing on request
- A one-time initial password that you change on first login
- Reboot help, and hardware replacement if the machine fails during your rental
- On request, a reset to our clean standard image
What you provide
- Your own Apple ID, Apple Developer account and any other accounts or licenses you need
- Backups of your own data — we cannot recover data after a machine is erased
What we don't do
- We do not create Apple IDs or other accounts for you, perform identity verification (KYC) for third-party services, or hold your passwords on your behalf
- We do not help bypass regional restrictions, Activation Lock, MDM or any service's terms
- We are not responsible for actions third-party services take on your accounts
Dedicated, not shared
| Daxin dedicated Mac mini | Typical shared cloud Mac | |
|---|---|---|
| Hardware | A whole physical machine, one customer | Virtual machine or shared host |
| CPU, memory, disk | All yours for the rental | Split with other tenants |
| Access | Private network (Tailscale) + SSH keys | Varies |
| Between customers | Full erase and clean macOS | Varies |
Hand-off and wipe
- Prepare. The machine starts from a clean macOS install; your SSH key is added and you receive a one-time password.
- Connect. You join the machine over Tailscale and sign in with your own Apple ID if you need one. Provisioning time will be announced before launch.
- Use. The whole machine is yours for at least 1 month, then month to month.
- Return. Before the end, sign out of iCloud, turn off Find My Mac and remove Activation Lock. Back up anything you need.
- Wipe. We erase all content and settings (or reinstall macOS) and revoke your access keys before the machine is rented again.
